Born July 27 to Gale and Doreen Courtney and he died June 6, 2011 at the age of 61 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by Rosanne, his wife of 22 years; his in-laws Art and Elaine Tinckler; sister-in-law Lynn (Brian) Brown, three sons, two daughters, seven grandchildren, four brothers, one sister and many nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate Lyle's life will take place on Saturday, June 25, at 1 p.m. from St. Peter's Anglican Church, 218 Church St., Comox.
