Passed peacefully away at Harbour Lodge on Monday, June 19, 2011, Mrs. Flora Williams of Bishop’s Cove, age 96 years. Predeceased by husband John, son Isreal, and grandson David, sisters Mabel Sheppard, Edith Sheppard and Myrtle Tucker, brothers Isreal and Lewis Smith. Leaving to mourn sons Leander (Daphne) of Upper Island Cove, John (Flora) of Mount Pearl, and Wallace (Dorothy) of Bishop’s Cove; daughters Winnifred King (Ned) of Carbonear, Drucella Greeley (Harvey) of Upper Island Cove, Pearl Farrell (Leonard) of Harbour Grace, Joan Parsons (Newman) of Coley’s Point, Cavelle Smith (Maxwell - deceased) of Scarborough, ON, Donna Howell (Harold) of Paradise; 21 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Young’s Funeral Home in Spaniard’s Bay. Funeral will take place on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 2 p.m. at St. John’s Anglican Church in Bishop’s Cove with interment to follow at the St. John’s Anglican Cemetery in Bishop’s Cove.
