It is with great sadness that the family of the late Henrietta (Hettie) Snook announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Friday, September 11, 2009 at the age of 73 years. She will be sadly missed by two sons: Pius (Junior) (Sandra) Snook of West Bay and Robert (Madonna) Snook of Lourdes; two daughters: Trudy Snook (Ralph) of Milton, Ontario and Loretta (Terry) Brennan of Mississauga, Ontario; two sisters: Teresa Drake of Lourdes and Rosalie Skinner of the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing; special niece, Anne Marie (Jim) Ballard and children, Kristen and Carrah of Aguathuna; six grandchildren: Christopher, Courtney, Drew, Samantha, Makenna and Cody; two great-grandchildren: Ryder and Harlee, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Mary Snook; brothers: Pius, Tom and Morgan. Friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Lourdes on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, September 15th at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Lourdes with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in West Bay. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Lourdes Grotto Fund would be greatly appreciated.
