CHAMBERLAIN, AMANDA MARY - Amanda Mary Chamberlain, loving wife of Orven Chamberlain, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 3rd, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in 1922 in Anse-Bleu, NB, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elida (Landry) Albert.
Besides her loving husband, Orven, of 67 years, she is survived by her sons, Carven Chamberlain (Mona), of Anse-Bleu, Gerry Chamberlain and Donald Chamberlain; daughters, Shirley MacDonald (Jack), Rose Gunn (Earle), Linda Ferris (William Peter), Lavina Carson (Ernie), Mary Joan Duke (Donnie), and Brenda Lee Chamberlain; sisters, Rosanna Doiron and Lodina Landry; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Romeo, Clarence, Theodore and Theodule Albert.
The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Tuesday, July 5th, 2011 at 11 am. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
