Sawyer
Celesta Audrey Sawyer died peacefully on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2010 in Kitchener, Ont., at age 83. Born at Miminegash, P.E.I., she was the daughter of George and Jesse Costain. She was prediseased by her husband, John Sawyer in 1971, and her siblings, Zelma Costain (P.E.I.), Myra Williams (P.E.I.), Irving (Pete) Costain (P.E.I.), and Shirley Gillis (N.S.). She is missed by her children, Janis (Ken) Davis and Lorne (Karen) Sawyer. She is survived by her sisters Isabel Lamont (Ont.) and Ivy Maxwell (N.S.). She is sadly missed by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In keeping with her wishes, Celesta was cremated in September 2010, and a graveside service will be held at the Mimminegash cemetery on July 13, 2011 at 11 a.m. She will be laid to rest with her late husband. We invite all who knew her to join our family in a celebration of her life.
