RUSSELL, Theresa Veronica —Passed suddenly away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Thursday, July 14th, 2011 Theresa Veronica Russell of Colliers; Age 83 years. Predeceased by her parents Nicholas and Bridget Whelan; husband Leo (1963), son Paul (1985), and sister Bridget Cole (2002). Leaving to mourn her daughter Brenda (John), and son Leo; three granddaughters: Shelby, Mikiella and Tiara; sisters: Mary (Ed) Edmunds, Helen (Stan) McHugh, Betty (Bill) Wall, Agnes Ryan, and Marge Newman; brothers: Nick (Madonna) Whelan, Francis (Noreen) Whelan, Vince (Imelda) Whelan, and Kieran (Kay) Whelan; brother-in-law Bernard Russell (Kay); sister-in-law Nellie Russell; numerous nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Conway’s Funeral Home, Conception Harbour on Saturday, July 16th from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.- 9 p.m., and Sunday, July 17th from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, July 18th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from Immaculate Conception Church, Colliers. Interment to follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Colliers. In lieu of flowers, donations in Theresa’s memory can be made to Immaculate Conception Church.
