Passed peacefully away at the Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia on Thursday, July 21, 2011, Elizabeth White of Dunville, formerly of Red Island, age 90 years. Predeceased by her loving husband & soul mate Douglas (May 31, 2011), brothers Thomas, Jeremiah, & Joseph, sisters Mary (Carroll) & Bride (Rose), son-in-law Captain William Ennis. Leaving to mourn her children: Bruce (Peggy), Eugene (Betty), Helen Ennis - Ledrew (Rudy), Ken (Barbara), Rose Barron (Freeman), Shirley, Paul, Douglas Jr (Darlene) & David (Maureen); 16 grandchildren: Kevin, Penny, Pandora, Stephen, Krista, Susan, Brian, Jennifer, Roma, Derek, Sheldon, Geoffrey, Jason, Staci, Stephanie & Brittany; 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Friday, July 22, 2011, 6-9 p.m, Saturday & Sunday 2 - 4 & 7 -9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, July 25, 2011 at St. Anne’s Church, Dunville at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast, Placentia.
