BARNES, Carl Robert — Passed away suddenly on July 22, 2011 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital at 73 years. Predeceased by his parents William & Rose Barnes, brother Melvin and Aunt Lil, father and mother-in-law Margaret & John Walsh, and sister-in-law Patricia Guest. Leaving to mourn his wife Anna (nee Walsh); four children: Bob, Sheryl (Skip), Susan (John), and Craig (Ann- Marie); six precious grandchildren: Stephanie (Shawn), Robert, Zachery, Ethan, Christian and Seth; two precious great-grandchildren: Marcus and Logan; brother Grant (Olive); sisters: Marjorie and Cathy (Wally); brothers-in-law: John Walsh (Vera), Harry and Don Walsh, and Kevin Guest; sisters-in-law: Viola Gillis (Barry), Mary DeCoste (Frank), Jean Decoste (Leonard), Barb Birmingham (Roger), Sheila Duff, Peggy Coombs (Mel); also a large number of nieces, nephews and circle of friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Sunday, July 24th, from 7:00pm-9:00pm; and on Monday, July 25th, from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm.
