O’NEILL, Michael J. – Passed away peacefully at his home on July 21st, 2011 age 84 years. Last surviving member of John F. and Mary C. O’Neill. Predeceased by his daughter Mary (2008) and sons Jerome and Keith (1977). Left to celebrate his life with cherished memories are his devoted wife of 58 years Stella (Jackman); his children: Catherine (Gerald Power), Brenda (Kenneth Noseworthy), Marjorie (David Steele), Carolyn (Douglas Whitten), Michael Jr. (Beverly Sharpe), Frank (Cavell), Arlene (Michael Rickert) and Philip (Jodie); precious Poppy to Mark and Lisa Steele, Jennifer and Michael Power, Keith, Joshua and Joseph Noseworthy, Roger (Karla) and Kimberly Whitten, Kylie O’Neill, Nicole and Michelle Rickert; great-grandpoppy to Haley Whitten; members of the Jackman family along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Saturday, July 23rd, 2011 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Sunday, July 24th, 2011 from 12 noon – 9 p.m. A Celebration of Mike’s life will take place at St. Peter’s Church, Mount Pearl on Monday, July 25th, 2011 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
