Peacefully passed away on Saturday July 23, 2011 at Southlake Regional Health Centre surrounded by his loving family. Don was born on June 5, 1927 in Curling NL. Don will be dearly missed by Bertha (Candow) his loving wife of 61 years. A devoted father to Keith (Patricia) and Lorne (Lynda), a cherished grandfather to Adam (Wendy), Jeremy (Danielle), Evan (Angela), Lyle, Lara (Josh) and a great-grandfather to Kayla, Tyler, Jaxson and Peyton. Don was predeceased by his parents Bill and Mary George and his step-mother Edna. Don will also be dearly missed by his many family and friends. Don was a long time employee of Chrysler Brampton and retired after 30 years to Chemainius BC and recently returned to Newmarket ON. Cremation has already taken place.
