Darren Bradley ‘Bubba’, 44, Stewiacke, former resident of Dominion, passed away Aug. 6, 2011, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro.
He was the son of Theresa McNeil and the late Robert McNeil.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife and best friend, Theresa (Wood) McNeil and beloved daughters, Victoria and Brittany, whom his world revolved around; sisters, Robin (Ray Fisher) Bouchard, Kitchener, Ont., Karen (George) Muise, Glace Bay; brothers, Kevin (Theresa Lyle) McNeil, Sydney Mines, Jason (Cheryl) McNeil, Victoria Mines, Shawn (Rhonda MacGillivary) McNeil, Glace Bay, Jonathan McNeil, Mabou; and good friends, Anita and Leo from Elmsdale. Also left to mourn are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Daniel and Dorthy (Taylor) McNeil, paternal grandparents, Daniel and Margaret (McWhirter) McNeil, brother-in-law, David S. Wood.
Darren has been a valued employee with Atlantic Superstore for the past 16 years as a role model to many and a prankster to all. Darren was an avid dart player who also enjoyed playing baseball. He was always there to lend a helping hand when needed, even if the jobs he started at home were not complete.
Darren will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. The world lost a great man, heaven gained an angel.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will be held Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011, at 11 a.m. in St. Eugene’s Church, Dominion.
