It is with great sadness that we, the Wambolt families, announce the passing of Melvin Wambolt on Aug. 22, 2011 in Hamilton, Ont.
Born in Sydney to the late George and Mae (Beach) Wambolt.
While living in Sydney, he was employed at Eastern Bakeries.
Melvin is survived by his children, Ronald (Nicole), Belinda (Jerry Johnstone), Ann (Doug Morgan), Frank (Ina), Albert (Ann-Marie) and Juanita. Loving papa to 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He will also be sadly missed by his brothers, Gordie (Monica) and Paul (Chick); sisters, Grace, Janet, Tiny (Ernie), Marilyn (Buck) and Thelma; numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Anita; brothers, Ace, Frank, George, Ernie, Earl; sisters, Ada and Erna.
Burial took place in Hamilton.
