It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ellen Haynes (Spearing) of Nanaimo, British Columbia, announce her passing at Labrador South Health Centre in Forteau on Aug. 23, 2011 in her 69 years. Leaving to mourn husband Peter; sons William (Lori), Michael (Shari), and James (Janine); daughters Shirley (Trevor), and Phyllis (James); grandchildren Matthew, Shannyn, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Kyle, and Blake; great-grandson Zachery; brothers Jack, Edward (Evelyn), Michael (Lillian), and James (Angela), as well as a circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her sister Eileen (Tom), and Mary (Edward). At her request cremation has taken place, with a memorial service at a later date.
