CYR, YVON S. - In Edmundston Regional Hospital, August 29, 2011 at the age of 82 years and 1 month, Mr. Yvon S. Cyr, surrounded by his family passed away. He was the husband of late Rose-Marie Boudreau. He is survived by his children, Jean-Pierre (Carole) of Edmundston, Gérald of Toronto, ON, Denise Ross of Edmundston, Micheline Richard (Gilbert) of Edmundston, Suzanne Poitras (Denis) of St-Léonard and, Robert (Lise Robichaud) of Saint John, NB; his grandchildren; David, Scott, Benoit, Carolan, Valérie, Stéphanie, Rebecca, Noah, Nicky, Catie; great-grand-children, Zachary and Allyson; his brothers, Roland (Émérilda), Harris (Agathe) and Lucien (Lélianne) de St-Basile. He was predeceased by his brother, Martin and sisters, Laura and Mariva.
The funeral service will be held in the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, Edmundston, Friday at 11:00 AM. The family will receive condolences at J.B. Côté & Son Funeral Home, 160 Church Street, Edmundston, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Thursday, and from 9 to 11 AM Friday. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 7543 of Edmundston.
