Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Center in Harbour Breton on Sunday, September 4, 2011, Mr. Walter B. Loveless, age 78 years of Seal Cove. Leaving to mourn his loving family: wife, Winnie; sons, Ken (Wanda) at Seal Cove, Claude (Bernice) at Trenton, NS, Glen (Rosalie) at Calgary, AB, and Daryl (Charmaine) at Seal Cove; daughters, Tressie and Sheila, both at Enfield, NS; twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; brothers, George (Shirley) at Foxtrap, NL, Gerald (Betty) at Bay D’Espoir, and Edmund (Audrey) at Mount Pearl; sisters, Bessie (Joe Langdon) at Grand Bank, Marion (Norman Loveless) at Seal Cove, Emily (Wilfred Best) at Arnold’s Cove, Gladys (Thomas Grandy) at Grand Bank, Kay (Bruce Williams) at Arnold’s Cove, and Alma (Carl Matthews) at Grand Bank; plus a circle of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents, John W. and Grace Loveless, and brother, John Willie. Funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at 2:00 pm from the Salvation Army Church in Seal Cove with Captains Edward and Rose Canning officiating. Interment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery at Seal Cove.
