DAVIDSON, DARLA MICHELE - September 1966 - September 2011 - Darla Davidson passed away peacefully at the George Dumont Hospital on September 10, 2011 after a lengthy illness. Born in Wolfville, NS, she was the daughter of Hope Davidson and George (Linda) Davidson of New Minas, NS. Survived by one sister, Shona Davidson (Blaine Prest), two nieces, Haylie and Felicity Prest of Kenvtville, N.S, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She lived in Greater Lakeburn, NB and was employed as a Librarian, with Civil Aviation, Transport Canada in Moncton, NB for 20 years. Darla loved life and spent a lot of time with her friends, power walking with her dogs at her side, reading, gardening and thoroughly enjoyed decorating her home. She will be sadly missed by her closest friends, Daniel, Rhea, Diane, Joanne, Caroline, Jackie & Brian, all of Moncton, NB and Esther Miller of BC and many more.
In Darla’s memory, donations can be made to the George Dumont Hospital foundation, the SPCA, or a memorial of the donors’ choice.
A Memorial service will be held at the Free Meeting House, 20 Mountain Rd, Moncton, NB at 4pm, Saturday, September 17th. A second memorial service will be held in Gaspereau, NS at a later date.
