Frank “Morley” of Medicine Hat, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Gloria Bowyer, passed away on Sunday, September 11th, 2011 at the age of 74 years. Morley leaves to cherish his memory three children, Rhonda Lynn Bowyer of Stony Plain, Carmen (Glenn) Phillips of Spruce Grove, and Wade Bowyer (Brandi Shatz) of Medicine Hat; seven grandchildren, Colton, Cage, Terri-Anne, "Little" Wade, Brandon, Tyler, and Samantha; one brother, Wayne (Margaret) of Piapot; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Morley was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Emma Bowyer; one grandson, Dustin; one brother, Murdy; and one sister, Muriel. Morley was born on November 25th, 1936 in Rush Lake, Saskatchewan and was raised in the Maple Creek District. He was a grain agent and fire inspector with the elevator for some years before becoming an Insurance Agent with Saskatchewan Crop Insurance in Swift Current. He also ran a cattle operation and resided at Neville, SK during this time. He and Gloria retired to Medicine Hat in 2005. Morley loved hunting, camping and farming and especially enjoyed his time with family and friends, too numerous to mention. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all. The Funeral Service was held in SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, on Thursday, September 15th, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating. Memorial gifts in Morley’s memory may be made to the Medicine Hat Cancer Centre, 666 - 5th Street SW, Medicine Hat, AB T1A 4H6.
