DOIRON, ALIBÉ - (1923-2011) - Acadieville - At the Assomption nursing home of Rogersville, on Tuesday, October 4th, 2011, at the age of 88, passed away Alibé Doiron, husband of Thérèse Doiron (née Pineau). Born on May 26th, 1923, he was the son of the late Bertie Doiron and of the late Hélène Richard. He is survived by three daughters: Carmella Thébeau (Roger) of Acadieville, Ginette Pitre (Roger) of West Collette and Yvette Doiron Brun (Bernard) of Moncton; six sons: Aurèle (Linda) of Moncton, Gilles (Rose-Mai) of Lakeside, Robert of Greenwood, NS., Daniel (Corinne) of Acadieville, Bernard (Marcia) and Ronald (Anne) both of Moncton; four sisters: Madeleine (Cléophas) Fournier, Estelle Doiron, Lauretta (the late Arthur) Pineau and Simonne (Antoine) Babin; four brothers : Eugène (Anna), Éloi (the late Bertha), Livain (Elmina) and Jean-Louis (Sylvia).; he is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son: Emilio as well as two grand-sons: Claude and Marc. Mr. Doiron worked for 24 years for NB Power and was a veteran.
Family is receiving relatives and friends at the salon ‘La Colombe’, 11325, route 126, Rogersville, Thursday October 6th at 9:30am. Funerals will be held at Immaculée-Conception Church of Acadieville the same day at 11am. A donation can be made at the Assomption nursing home of Rogersville. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of "La Colombe" Funeral Cooperative Ltd, of Tracadie-Sheila.
