MAILLET, OSWALD (1935 - 2011) - Oswald Maillet, 76 of Bouctouche passed away peacefully Sunday October 9th, 2011 at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent. He was married to Jeannette (Cormier) Maillet. Born in Sainte-Anne de Kent on March 18, 1935, he was the son of the late Alyre and the late Pauline (Caissie) Maillet. Oswald was a carpenter by trade. He will be sadly missed by his wife Jeannette, his four children, Lisa Maillet and Tina Gautreau (Maurice) of Bouctouche, Paul (Glenda) of Halifax and Michel of Bouctouche South, and his four grandchildren, Mario, Chantal, Jasmine and Karisa. He also leaves to mourn six sisters, Fernande Allain of Bouctouche, Rosarine Maillet (Irois), Roberte Mathews, Rose-May Maillet, Sr Claudette Maillet ndsc of Moncton, Andréa Farnham (Tommy) of Calais, ME, and five brothers, Conrad (Colette) and Denis (Lucie) of Moncton, Eloi of Rogersville, Rhéal (Denise), and Jacques of Ontario, and several nephews and nieces.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche on Monday October 10th, from 7 to 9 and on Tuesday from 10:30 am to 12:15 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Tuesday, October 11th at 12:30 noon, with interment in the parish cemetery. In Oswald’s memory donations can be made to the Parkinson's foundation. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
