Born November 13, 1938, passed away Oct. 13, 2011 at Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow, NS.
Donald was born in Roman Valley, Guysborough County, the son of the late Mathias and Margaret (Cameron) MacDonald and step-mother, Alice (Walsh) MacDonald.
He is survived by his brother William (Bill) MacDonald (Pauline) and nieces, Mary (Steve) MacDonald, Anne (Robert) Geddes, Therese (Ray) Steiner and nephew Brandon (Monica) MacDonald; also several grand nieces and grand nephews, all of British Columbia.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Douglas James and a special aunt, Mary Elizabeth MacDonald.
Donald will be dearly remembered for his wonderful smile and personality.
Special thanks to the caring staff at the Glen Haven Manor for making Donald feel that this was his home for the past five years.
Visitation 2-6 Sunday, in MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant St., Antigonish. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Monday in St. Patrick’s Church, Guysborough Intervale Burial in the Church Cemetery.
