LESLIE, John Aubrey - 74, Port Mouton and Halifax, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Born in Port Mouton on March 22, 1937, John was the son of the late Aubrey and Leah (Winters) Leslie. He attended elementary school in Port Mouton and graduated from Liverpool High School. He received a BSc (Geology) from Mount Allison University and an MSc (Geology) from the University of Western Ontario. For most of his career he was self employed as a consultant geologist in Halifax. John is survived by his wife Dorothy Ann (Basque); daughter Heather, Amsterdam, NL; sons Greg (Kimberley) Halifax and Kirk (Stacey Brown), Halifax; four beloved grandchildren Bridget, Mark, Adam and Kyle Leslie, Halifax; sisters Elaine (Gordon) Kyle, Halifax and Isabel (Fred) Marks, Brantford, Ontario; and numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. There will no visitation or funeral service by request.
