WILSON, LLOYD R. “BEAVER” - 1944-2011 - Miramichi - Lloyd Robertson (Beaver) Wilson, husband of Leah Wilson, of North Napan Road, Napan, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Sunday evening, October 16, 2011, at the age 0f 67. Born in Chatham, on March 27, 1944, he was the son of the late Enoch R. and Edna M. (Lepard) Wilson. He was a labourer and an adherent of St. Andrews United Church, Miramichi. He was a former member of the Napan Dart League. He is survived by his wife, the former Leah Taylor; one daughter, Tanya Wilson, of Moncton; two sons, Lloyd Wilson (Faith), of Charlottsville, Virginia and Craig Wilson (Marsha), of Napan; three grandchildren, Haley, Ava and Jackson; six sisters, Shirley Dickson (Elwood), of Miramichi, Eleanor MacDonald (Terry), of Napan, Joan Wilson, of Rogersville, Kay Yvonne (Joe), of Miramichi, Louella Breau (Martin), of Rogersville, Helen Wilson, of Dartmouth, N.S.; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and one brother, Carl Wilson.
Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from St. Andrews United Church, Miramichi, on Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. Charlene Maguire MacKnight. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Miramichi. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Palliative Care Unit of the Miramichi Regional Hospital, or any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
