MAC INNIS, ROBERT NEIL - Robert Mac Innis went home to be with our Lord on October 18, 2011. Passed away, peacefully, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Cape Breton on April 11, 1939, he was the son of the late Gordon and Catherine (MacLeod) Mac Innis. Rob resided on the Kingston Penninsula with his beloved wife, Carol. His sense of humour and shared stories and songs will be dearly missed. He is survived by daughters, Ruth Macaulay (Wally) of Cape Breton, Peggy Mac Eachern (David) of Halifax, Neila Lee (Eugene) of Hampton, Amy Mac Innis of Cape Breton, Crystal Cox (Mark) of Saint John, Susan Monahan of Sussex, Karrie Brown (Joel) of Alberta and Tracey Brown (Dan) of Quispamsis; two sisters Wendy (Gary) and Lynn (Scott) of Cape Breton; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and his two dogs Monty and Basheeba. He was predeceased by step-daughter, Pamela Brown.
There will be no visitation or funeral service by request of the family. Donations to the Canadian Cancer, Animal Rescue League or to donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
