The death occurred suddenly in Regina, Sask. on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011 of Jason William Shields of Summerside, P.E.I. aged 38 years. Beloved son of Muncey "Rook" and Carolanne (nee Arsenault) Shields of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his sister Louanne (Wayne) Maddix, his grandmother Marguerite Arsenault and nephews Dylan and Logan, all of Summerside. Jason was predeceased by his grandparents Wilfred and Irene Shields and William J. Arsenault. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday, Oct. 24, then to St. Patrick's Church, Grand River for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Jason's memory to the St. Patrick's Church Building Fund would be greatly appreciated.
