JONES, FLORENCE - The family of Florence Rae Jones of Saint John, NB announces her death on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 from her residence. Born in Saint John, NB she was the daughter of the late Cyril Thomas and Florence Priscilla (Willet) Jones. Rae worked for NB Tel as an Operator for twenty seven years, and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. She is survived by her daughter Patricia “Arlene” Cromwell of Saint John, brothers David Higgins of Fredericton, and Stephen Jones (Sharon) of Alberta, two grandsons Andrew Wood (Ashley Logan) and Michael Cromwell, one great grandson Jacob Cromwell, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter Christine “Tina” Olsen, sisters Dorothy Brown, and Marilyn Payeur.
In celebration of her Life the family will receive visitors on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 from 7 to 9 pm at the Admiral Beatty Complex Lounge.
