CHESLEY STEADMAN ANSTEY
1923 – 2011
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Chesley S. Anstey announce his passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale on October 28, 2011 at the age of 88. Chesley was a member of the Salvation Army. He retired from Warr’s Limited. Predeceased by son Brian. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Elva; sons: Scott (Justina) of Springdale, Kevin (Joanne) of Sudbury and Wayne (Naida) of Sudbury; daughters: Jennie Mouland (Ralph) of Sudbury, Bonnie Taylor (Raymond) of Grand Falls-Windsor and Betty Giles (Ivan) of Sudbury. Also leaving to mourn 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Majors Robert and Cassie Kean conducted the funeral service from the Salvation Army Citadel in Springdale on October 30, 2011. Interment was at the Salvation Army Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bruce Oxford, Gerald Dalley, Jim Dalley, Jack Dalley, Raymond King and Les Locke.
