Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit at LeGrow Health Centre, Port aux Basques on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, Donna Greeley of Port aux Basques, formerly of Harbour Grace. Predeceased by her parents, Norman and Violet Greeley of Harbour Grace. Leaving to mourn daughter; Melissa (Dwayne LeRiche) and beloved granddaughter, Avery LeRiche; son Scott; their father Dan Clarke and members of the Clarke family; good friends: Viola Parsons and Cynthia Mills; many other good friends who have supported Donna on her 15 year journey with breast cancer; a large circle of relatives and friends throughout the province, including her former colleagues at St. James Elementary School, Port aux Basques. At Donna’s request, cremation has taken place. Family visitation was on Sunday, Oct. 30 at 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 134 Main Street, Port aux Basques. Funeral services took place at St. James Anglican Church, Port aux Basques on Monday,Oct. 31, at 11 a.m., Rev. Louise Richards officiating. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
