Ruby Vera Swyers Wheeler passed away on Monday November 7, 2011 at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Center, after a long battle with cancer. She was 61 years of age. Mrs. Swyers Wheeler retired from teaching in 1996. She was predeceased by her mother, Jean. Left to mourn are her husband, Roy; father, Donald (Betty); sisters, Bessie (Alfred), Audrey (Eddie), Hazel (Calvin), Sylvia, Ada (Jim), Naida (Vaden); brothers, Bill (Linda), Ray (Ruth); and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Fraser Roberts conducted funeral services at Jubilee Pentecostal Temple, Botwood on Thursday November 10, 2011. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home, Botwood.
