SAULNIER, JAMES ROBERT “BOBBY” - It is with heavy hearts and great sadness we announce the sudden death of MCpl James Robert “Bobby” Saulnier at age 31, posted to CFB Trenton, Ontario born in Heidleberg, Germany. Bobby was named after his mum's friend Bob Bilby. Bobby is survived by his mother Beverly (Adshade) Saulnier, father James (Jim), stepmother Joyce Saulnier; all of Truro, NS; wife Roseanne (Markie) and daughter Alyssa Saulnier; parents-in-law Ward and Brenda Markie of Truro, NS. Ever remembered by brother-in-law Luke (Mary) Markie of Dartmouth, NS; his sister and best friend since he was born Debi Saulnier-Wellings; brother-in-law Mark and nephew Raine Wellings of Chalk River; brothers Adam Saulnier of Taiwan; David Saulnier of Trenton; sister-in-law Belinda and nephew Owen James Saulnier of Trenton; godparents Russell and Irene Grant; lots of aunties, uncles and cousins from Yarmouth, Truro and Debert, NS. Grandfather Carlie Adshade, Truro, NS. Pre-deceased by grandmother Marlene (MacCallum) Adshade, uncle Terry Adshade, grandfather Paul Ivan Saulnier, grandmother Margaret (Harrold) Saulnier. Bobby loved to take Alyssa muddin in the jeep. Also a special thanks to nannie Flossie Markie for all the baking and recipe advice over the phone no matter how many hours.
Saulnier and Markie families would like to thank everyone for their love and support.
Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 21st, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. from the Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro, NS (902-895-5587). Interment Debert Cemetery.
