Naugle, Alan Patrick – 45, Truro, passed away peacefully on November 2 , 2009 at home surrounded by his family and friends after a courageous fight with cancer. Born July 5, 1964 in Halifax County, he was a son of the late Ronald and Lorna (MacEachern) Naugle .Alan was a loving father and adoring husband. His love for his family was his top priority. Alan had many friends, each with their own special connections. He was a hard worker and took pride in everything he did. Alan is survived by his wife, Christine (Manicom); daughter, Brittany, Truro; son, Patrick, Truro; stepdaughter , Renae (Adam) Barr, Calgary; stepson, Karey (Rhea) Barr, Toronto; brothers, Mark (Dawn) Enfield, Tim (Peggy), both of Truro; sister, Cheryl (Donald) Anderson, Truro, Elaine (Kenneth) Goodine, Bathurst, NB; brothers-in-law, Edward (Dallas), Alex (Heidi), Larry (Brenda), all of Truro; sisters-in-law, Jo-Ann (John) Mumford, Truro, Debbi (Bruce) Purcell, Timberlea, Lori (Kerry) Robinson, Fort Smith, NWT, and many extended family members and very dear friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Glenn. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Alan’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 4th from 7-9 pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Family flowers only. Donations in Alan’s memory may be made to a charity of your personal choice.
