Of Upper Island Cove. Passed away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, November 19, 2011. Mrs. Adams was 92 years old. She leaves to mourn her loving family: husband George Adams, children John (Edna) Adams, Lorne (Dorothy) Adams & Sylvia (Gerald) McCarthy; grandchildren Stephen, Lisa, Kristoffer, Kerri, Anne, Holly, Dawn & Lisa; great-grandchildren Mackenzie, Teagan & Grace; brother Wallace (Frances) Janes. Predeceased by parents George & Maude Janes. The funeral service will take place at St. Peter's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Upper Island Cove, on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 2 p.m. The Family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, Crane’s Road, Upper Island Cove between the hours of Monday: 10:30 a.m. - 9 p.m. & Tuesday: 10:30 a.m. - 12 Noon.
