Passed peacefully away at her home in the presence of her loving family on Monday November 21, 2011, Ruby McCarthy, in her 80th year. Predeceased by husband Francis. Leaving to mourn with fond & loving memories: son Francis and wife Darlene, grandson Kevin and granddaughter Lisa; son Chris and wife Debbie, grandsons Michael and Ryan; daughter Sue and grandson Tanner; sister Lillian Mercer; brother Elmer Upshall (Joan); sister-in-law Vivian Upshall; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. on Tuesday and from 10 a.m.- 9 p.m. on Wednesday. Funeral Service to take place at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 24, 2011 from Barrett’s Mount Pearl Chapel. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
