McCREA, GRAYDON - The death of Graydon John McCrea of Perth-Andover occurred at the Victoria Glen Manor on Saturday, November 26, 2011. Graydon was born in Tobique Narrows, NB on June 22, 1934. He was the son of the late Harold and Ruth (Williams) McCrea. He leaves behind his wife of 48 years Bonnie McCrea (MacNally); his son Tracy McCrea (Erica) of Muniac; his daughters Julie Brayall (Rodney) of Tobique Narrows, Lisa McCrea-Hemphill (Phil) of Abbotsford, BC; his brother William McCrea (Mona) of Deep River, ON; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Harold (1987) and his mother Ruth (1986). Graydon worked as a CPR station agent for 35 years. One of his greatest joy was nature, along with surveying his woodlots, until illness in the last few years impeded these activities. He was an avid sports fan, gardener, and enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren.
Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Monday 7 to9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 2 pm from the Perth-Andover Baptist Church. Rev. Michael Fredericks officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Gideon Bable Society or the NB Alzheimer's Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
