MUZZERALL, DAWN - It is with sadness we announce the sudden passing of Dawn Marie Muzzerall on December 2, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in 1959 in Newcastle, NB she is the daughter of Arthur Muzzerall and the late Ovilda (Ramsay). Dawn is a graduate of Miramichi Valley High School and graduated with a BBA from UNB. She was most recently a Labour Relations Officer for the New Brunswick Union. Dawn was a loving mother, daughter and sister and is survived by three children: Amy, Kate and Andrew: her partner and best friend Dan McBride; three sisters: Grace, Janice and Kathy; and three brothers: Terry, Tim and Robbie. In addition to participating in many triathlons, to celebrate her 50th birthday Dawn cycled across Canada. Always the academic, she continued her studies in 2010 and was accepted to UNB’s law school where she completed her first year and won the prestigious George McAllister Prize in Torts. She inherited her mother’s lovely singing voice and spent many enjoyable occasions with the Elm City Echoes. Dawn could always be counted on to write a song or a poem and maintain the family genealogy. She was always the life of the party.
Donations in her memory can be made on-line or by cheque to the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada. A Funeral Mass will be held in the Miramichi at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 11:00am.
