It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Matheson, 59, in Kitchener, Ont., Oct. 28, 2009.
Born in Reserve Mines, he was the son of the late Alex and Violet (Jackson) Matheson.
He was a member of Gordon United Church, Reserve Mines.
Survived by son, Brian; daughter, Michelle; and grandchildren, Tanya, Amanda and Evie; longtime companion, Mary; stepson Erin; brothers, Russell (Marie), Dan (Brenda), Alex (Joyce); sisters, Kit (Dave) Pastuck, Diane (Fabe) Martin, Ethel (Elmer) Cameron, Mevy (Brian) Reid, Donna (Donnie) McEllestrum; and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by brothers, Sandy, Freddie, Darryll, Wayne, Blair, Johnnie, Marvin, Forbes and Keith, sisters, Eileen Cameron, Barbara MacPherson and Sharon Matheson.
Viewing and cremation took place in Kitchener. A memorial service will be held at Gordon United Church, Reserve Mines, on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 10 a.m. with Martha MacDonald officiating.
