WILLIAMS, LILLIAN SARAH - Debec, NB - It is with sadness that we announce the the passing of our Mother, Lillian Sarah (Carr) Williams on December 10th, 2011 at the Carleton Manor, Woodstock, NB . Born on May 12, 1915 she was the daughter of the late Colvin Carr and Maude (Griffin) Carr. Lillian lived in Debec with her husband Johnny where they enjoyed many years together. She loved gardening and cooking for her family and many visitors. She was always ready with a cup of tea! She was a caring Mother and loved all the little ones who eventually came into her family. Lillian is survived by her son, Eugene and his wife Thelma of Moncton and her daughter, Sylvia and her husband Jim Young of Riverview, six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, sisters in law Jessie Carr, and Muriel Carr; many nieces and nephews. She is the last surviving member of her family. She was predeceased by her husband Johnny, a grandson Lief Williams, sisters Faye, Helena, Evelyn, Eunice and brothers Fred, Floyd and Allan; sister in law Betty Carr.
Resting at the Scott Funeral Home 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB with Visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 am from St. Gertrude's Catholic Church. Father John Keoughan will be officiating with interment in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.
