The family of the late Rosalie Skinner would like to announce her peaceful passing on Monday, December 12, 2011 at the age of 93 years at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing. She was predeceased by her husband William in 1985 and her eldest daughter Elizabeth in 2008. Her life was enriched by her children: sons, Charlie (Joan) of North River, Tommy (Pam) of Stephenville Crossing, Morgan (Merina) of Ship Cove, Billy (Phyllis) of Labrador City, Greg (Idryn) of Ship Cove, Barry (Cathy) of Alberta and Terry of Piccadilly, daughters: Minnie (Allan) of Black Duck Brook and Trixie of Piccadilly; 24 grandchildren including her special boy Keenan William and 18 great-grandchildren, one sister, Teresa Drake of Lourdes and her friend and roommate Evelyn Skinner of St. George’s and especially her friend Judy. Friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Lourdes on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 15th at 2:00 p.m. from Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Lourdes with Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in West Bay. As expressions off sympathy, donations may be made to the Lourdes Parish Grotto. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell’s Funeral Home, Stephenville.
