LÉGER, JEAN - 1963 - 2011 - Memramcook - Jean Léger, 48, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, on Tuesday, December 13th, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Moncton, on April 30th, 1963, he was the son of Fernand Léger and Loretta (LeBlanc) Léger. Besides his parents, Jean will be sadly missed by his wife, Ginette (Boudreau) Léger; his son, Jérémie Léger of Memramcook; his three daughters, Anik Léger of Moncton, Janelle Léger and Myriam Léger both of Memramcook; his brother, Claude Léger of Moncton; his two sisters, Lise Léger-Gaudet (Pierre) and Nicole Léger (Francisco) both of Memramcook; his brother-in-law, Marc Boudreau (Renelle) of Grand-Barachois; his niece, Danica; his four nephews, Patrick, Noah, Luca and Maxime; also several uncles, aunts and cousins.
In respect to Jean’s wishes, there will be no visitations. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 16th at the St-Thomas RC Church in Memramcook at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre (Oncology Dept.) or to donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
