The death occurred at the Maplewood Manor, Alberton on Tuesday Dec. 13, 2011 of Hector Doucette of Maplewood Manor and formerly of Palmer Road North aged 73 years. Hector was born in Palmer Road on Jan. 29, 1938, the son of the late Joseph and Beatrice (Chaisson) Doucette. He is survived by his sons Joey, Johnny and Ricky Doucette all of Ontario. Dear brother to Rev. Melvin Doucette, Palmer Road; Esther (Leo) Bernard, Palmer Road; Annie Mae Doucette, Della (Michel) Chabot and Vincent (Dionne) Doucette all of Montreal; Albon (Darlene) Doucette, Leoville and Ray Doucette, Toronto, Ont. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Beatrice, son Raymond, sisters Velda and Janette, brothers Joseph Jr. and Albon in infancy. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road for visiting hours Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday 9-10 a.m. Funeral will be held Friday Dec. 16, 2011 at the Immaculate Conception Church with funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Melvin Doucette brother of deceased will be officiating. Interment in the church cemetery. Memorial donations to Immaculate Conception Parish Project Love or Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
