In Amherst N.S. on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011 of Carroll Marie McCormick, Amherst, formerly of Unionvale, aged 67. Born in Unionvale on April 29, 1944, daughter of the late Harold and Maria (Perry) McCormick. Dear sister to Allison (Marsha) McCormick, Charlottetown; Kathleen (Richard) Blanchard, Cascumpec; Rebecca (Leith)) Bulger, Fortune Cove; Darlene McCormick, Woodstock and Willard McCormick, Vancouver, BC. Carroll is also survived by brothers in law Larry Reilly, Trenton, ON; Donald Collicutt, Stratford; sister in law, Betty McCormick, O’Leary; Uncle, William (Dora) Perry, Alberton; Aunt, Annie Gallant, O’Leary; best friend and cousin, Virginia Dobson, Amherst, NS. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents, brothers: Cecil, Michael, Kennedy, George and little Willard (infancy), Arthur and Walter (infancy) Clements; Sisters: Marjorie Reilly, Shirley Collicutt, Elizabeth Gay and Della Clements and sister’s in law: Dawna McCormick, Lillian McCormick and Elsie Collicutt and best friend Russell Dobson. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours Monday from 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday until 10 a.m. then to St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, Woodstock for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers and in memory of Carroll, memorials to Heart and Stroke Foundation, St. Anthony’s Cemetery, LA Animal Shelter, Amherst or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
