St. Stephen, NB/Baileyville, ME. Joseph Andre Arsenault, husband of Patricia (SteCroix) Arsenault passed away Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011 at Loch Lomond Villa in Saint John. Born in St. Chrysostome, Prince Edward Island, he is the son of Irene (Gallant) Arsenault and the late Theodore Arsenault. Joseph was a heavy-equipment operator and worked for Georgia Pacific for over 30 years. He enjoyed working in the woods and spent many years woodworking in his shop. Surviving in addition to his wife Patricia are his sons Bernard (Kathy) of Princeton, Maine, Michael of Portland, Maine, David (Kimberly) of Florida, daughter Annette Arsenault of Calais Maine, step children Kenneth (Dorothy) Ste Croix, Randy Ste Croix, Marie (Tommy) McGouey all of Saint John, NB, Jimmy (Kimberly) Ste Croix of Moncton, NB, seven grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren. Six brothers, Gerald (Blandine), Peter (Stella), Aurelle (Stella), Jean-Paul (Claire), Sylvaire, Zenon (Zelma), eight sisters Ella Robinson, Stella (John) Hebert, Juliette Arsenault, Theona (John) Bertin, Yvonne (Desmond) Arsenault, Dorothy (Gille) Chouinard , Diane (Louie) Richard and Eva (Clement) Arsenault. Joseph was predeceased by his daughter Susan, two brothers and two sisters. The family would like to extend a special thank you to his granddaughter Krista who was his "guardian angel" and his stepdaughter Marie for all of their loving care and time spent ensuring he was well cared for. By Joseph's request cremation will take place. A time of visitation and memorial service to celebrate Joseph's life will be held at a later date in mid-January, 2012.
