Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Rankin). Loving father of Rosemond (Aaron MacDougall), Wilbert (Chelsey Doucette) and Alexander. Brother of Mary Sherrard, James, David and Thomas. Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Sarah (Quigg) Beattie; and sister, Ethel Bidgood.
Resting at Ferguson\'s Montague Funeral Home until Thursday, then to St. John\'s Presbyterian Church, Belfast, where all are welcome to attend the funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment in the Belfast Cemetery.
Reception to follow downstairs in the church after the service.
