Jack C. Crosby, 64, of Moncton, NB, and formerly of Crapaud, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011. Born in Charlottetown, he was the son of the late Clayton and Mabel (Wotton) Crosby. Jack was retired from NB Tel with 32 years service. Following retirement, he worked part time at Paul’s Bike Shop in Sackville and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of New Brunswick. An avid Pittsburgh Penguins and Toronto Blue Jays fan, he also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, loved country music and spending precious time with his family and friends. Jack will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 42 years, Allyson (MacLean) Crosby of Moncton; children, Andrea Yoshida (Shigeki) of Kitchener-Waterloo, ON, Darren of Moncton and Steve of Kitchener-Waterloo, ON; brother, Blair (Marjorie) of Riverview, NB; sister, Dawne Surley (David) of Texas; special four legged companions, Millie and Ava; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Carl. No visitation by personal request. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Rd., Moncton (506-858-1995) on Friday, Dec. 23, 2011 at 11 a.m., Rev. Harold MacDonald officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Following the service in Moncton, there will be a Memorial Service at Dawson’s Funeral Home, Crapaud, on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment, Crapaud People’s Cemetery.
