CORMIER, AUREL - 1932 - 2011 - Aurel Cormier, 79, of Moncton passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital University Center, Moncton on Monday, December 26th, 2011. He was married to Diana Cormier. Born in Cocagne on July 2nd, 1932 he was the son of the late Levi and the late Emma (Maillet) Cormier. He will be sadly missed by his wife Diana, his two children, Denise Noble and Bernie of Kitchener, ON, and his three grandchildren, Jessica, Corey and Perry. He also leaves to mourn his six sisters, Irène Bastarache, Donalda LeBlanc (Néri), Geneva LeBlanc (Victor) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Lorraine LeBlanc (Roger) de Richiboucto, Aline Cormier (Ulysse) of Gardner, Dorine Daigle (Reginald) of Cocagne, his two brothers, Alcide (Yolande) of Notre-Dame, Leo-Paul (Jeanne) of Saint-Antoine, his two sisters-in-law, Rita and Edna of Massachusetts, and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by three brothers; Néri, Gerald, and Eric.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Cocagne on Wednesday December 28th, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Thursday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Cocagne Church on Thursday December 29th, 2011 at 11:00 am with interment in the Saint-Antoine Parish cemetery in the spring.
