ZANIDEAN – Nazih (Nick)
January 1, 1950 – December 24, 2011 Nick Zanidean beloved husband of Lori Zanidean of Calgary, passed away on December 24, 2011 at the age of 61 years. Nick was born in El Beire, Lebanon. At the age of 5, he immigrated to Saskatchewan where the family farmed in the Swift Current area. Nick worked for many years in the oil and gas industry before beginning his career with CP Rail. Nick and Lori later came to Calgary where he worked until his retirement. Nick was an avid sports fan, especially of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Nick was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Nick is survived by his loving wife, Lori; children, Mariam(Wassim), Craig, Kyle and Duane; grandchildren, Aysha, Brianna, Moustafa and Olivia; three brothers, two sisters as well as numerous nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Ahmid (2009) and Fatmy (1999). Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 with a graveside service at Mountainview Memorial Gardens.
