Peacefully at her late residence on Saturday, December 31, 2011, of Mrs. Hazel J. MacDonald (nee Marshall) of Stratford in her 90th year.
Beloved wife of the late Robert A. “Shanty” MacDonald and dear mother of Judy Reid (the late Johnnie), Bobby, David, Sandra (Lorne Cannon), Donna Thorne (Rick), Randy (Audrey Wadman), Cathy (David Harding), Diane Harris (Bob) and Nancy Court (Phillip). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one special grandson, John Allan MacDonald; sister, Joan Axworthy; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Eban and Lucy (nee Gauthier) Marshall and her brother and sisters, Oscar Marshall, Eileen Berman, Frances Munn and Mary MacDonald.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in the family plot in the People’s Cemetery, Charlottetown.
Visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 p.m.
