It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Theresa King announce her passing at her home in Bishop’s Falls on January 4, 2012, at the age of 86 years. Mary was a member of the Altar Society, Bishop’s Falls. Mary was predeceased by her husband John, daughter Evelyn, sister Florence and brothers Cyril and Frank. Left with fond and loving memories are sons Jack (Marg) of Bishop’s Falls; Gerry (Genine) of Bishop’s Falls; son-in-law Brud Warren of Brampton, ON; daughters Shirley (Ed) Jonson of Burlington, ON; Barbara Canning of Bishop’s Falls; Margaret (Robert) Hancock of Botwood; and Kay (Harold) Curtis of Bishop’s Falls. Also leaving to mourn sister Elsie, 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Special mention is also made of Mary’s caregivers Donna Snow and Diane Hurley. Father Morris conducted the Funeral Mass from the Sacred Heart Church in Bishop’s Falls on January 7, 2012. Interment was at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Bishop’s Falls. Urnbearer was Marjorie Penney. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jim Maidment of Central Funeral Homes.
