Passed away peacefully at the John M. Gray Centre in St. Anthony on Jan. 2, 2012, Mrs. Susanna Williams of Black Duck Cove, NL, in her 93rd year. She leaves to mourn her sons Stanley (Bessie), and James (Cornelia); daughters Hazareth (Archibald), Virginia (late Chesley), Cora (Melvin), Ruby (Gerald), and Edith (Kirby); 23 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband John Williams, her parents, seven children, four grandchildren, two sisters, two brothers and one son-in-law. Visitation was held at the St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Black Duck Cove from where the funeral service took place on Wednesday, Jan. 4 with Rev. Harold Harvey and Rev. Marlene Harvey officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery in Current Island. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
