BRUN, LÉONARD - 1935 - 2012 - Grande-Digue - Léonard Brun, 76, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, January 17, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Grande-Digue, he was the son of the late Léondre and Laura (LeBlanc) Brun. Léonard will be sadly missed by his wife, Marguerite; his son, Richard (Norma) of Grande-Digue; his three brothers, Gérard (Rachel) and Normand (Aldona) both of Grande-Digue, Edmond (Jovette) of Gardner, MASS; his five sisters, Stella LeBlanc (Jean-Paul) and Irène Colette (Léo-Paul) both of Bouctouche, Jeannita Cormier (Gérard) of Cap-Pelé; Léona LeBlanc (Ovile) and Viola Léger (Lionel) both of Cormierville; his granddaughter, Lynne; also several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Emery and Valmond.
In respect to Léonard’s wishes, there will be no visitations. Funeral service will be held at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue on Friday, January 20th at 10:30 am. Donations to Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont (Oncology Dept.) or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
