BOWSER, BEATRICE - Beatrice Bowser, widow of Peter D. Bowser, of Moncton, NB; passed away at her residence, on Monday, January 23, 2012 following a brief illness. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late John B. and Beulah M. Kearns. Bea was a graduate of the Moncton Hospital Nursing School Class of 1953. She was also a member of the Moncton Hospital School of Nursing Alumnae and was employed with Corrections Canada in Dorchester before her retirement. She will be sadly missed by her sons Kim (Antoinette), Scott (Emily) and Kevin (Glenda); her loving grandchildren Andrew, Mathew, Elizabeth, and their mother Krista; Allison, Jared, Peter, Ayla and Summer; two sisters Jackolyn Kearns and Joyce Coull; as well as nieces, nephews and many close friends.
Besides her parents, Bea was predeceased by her husband Peter D. Bowser in 2008, her daughter Susan Beth Bowser and by sisters Shirley Burgess, Hazel Kearns and Annie M. Kearns.
The family will be receiving friends at the Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, on Saturday, January 28, 2012 from 2:30pm to 4:00pm. Interment will be at River View Cemetery, Hopewell Cape, NB. Donations in Beatrice's memory made to the Moncton Hospital School of Nursing Alumnae, C/O The Moncton Hospital, 35 MacBeath Ave. Moncton, NB E1C 6Z8 would be appreciated by the family.
